Onboarding Steps
Business Information
Users provide basic company details and indicate their preferred payroll start date. This information helps configure appropriate tax settings and ensure proper documentation. For businesses switching from another provider, we collect information about their current payroll status.
Work Location Setup
Business address and work location details are collected to establish proper tax jurisdictions and compliance requirements. This is crucial for multi-state employers and ensures accurate tax calculations across different regions.
Pay Schedule Configuration
Users define their pay groups and schedules, choosing between weekly, bi-weekly, or custom frequencies. The system automatically calculates appropriate processing times and suggests optimal pay dates to ensure timely payments.
Tax Registration
Businesses provide their Employer Identification Number (EIN) and state tax account numbers. For new businesses still awaiting these credentials, the setup can continue while tax registrations are being processed.
Banking Integration
Users connect their business bank account through our secure verification process. We support both instant verification through major banks and a manual verification process for other financial institutions.
Documentation and Verification
Required authorization forms and compliance documents are electronically signed. This step ensures proper documentation for tax and regulatory purposes.
Data Migration
For businesses switching from another provider, we offer two migration paths:Automated migration where we directly access their previous provider Manual process where they can upload payroll history documents
